Day 1: We meet at Van airport and take you to Doğu Bayazıt to Simer Hotel which has been serving mountaineers for many years.After settlement ve visit Ishak Paşa palace upon request.At night while having our first dinner we will give you detailed information about the tour.Accomodation:Doğu Bayazıt.
Day 2:After the breakfast, we will drive untill 2200 or 2600 meters altitude depending on weather conditionsand then let our belongings to be carried by horses and start walking uphill to our camp at 3200m. altitude.Our walking will be in mild tempo and will last about 3-4 hours.Accomodation:Mount Ararat
Day 3:Aclimatisation.We will walk uphill untill 4000m. but will come back to our camp at 3200 m. altitude in order to adopt ourselves to the climatic conditions of the area.We will climb up on a more steep and rocky path and walk about 5 hours. Accomodation:Mount Ararat
Day 4:After the breakfast, we dismantle our camp and walk uphill to our new camp at 4200m.,we pitch our camp and rest after lunch in order to get ready for our long and hard day tomorrow. Accomodation:Mount Ararat
Day 5:We start walking early in the morning since our target is to reach the summit when the sun rises.At the summit,5167m. you will listen to the voice of the wind blowing without meeing any obstacle around, smell the weather over 5000m. and see Turkey,Iran and Armenian countries at the same time.Then we will walk downhill dismantling ourcamp at 4200m. and moving back to 3200m. Day 6:After having our last breakfast on the mountain,we will say farewell to the old volcano .We will meet our bus at Eli village and arrive to Doğu Bayazıt.In the afternoon,Turkish bath, massage and hot water will be waiting for you.Take a deep breath and sleep well.Accomodation:Doğu Bayazıt
Day 7:We preserve this day considering negative weather conditions preventing our climb to the summit.In that case we will stay at our camp at 4200m and try once more the next day.Under normal conditions we may visit Ishak Paşa Palace and meteor hole or go and see Van. Accomodation:Mount aArarat or hotel depending on weather conditions. |
