Mt. Ararat 5137 m & Mt. Suphan 4058 m

So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of gopher wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out..." Genesis 6:13-17

Prophet Noah, his spouse, his sons and their spouses as well as 7 male and 7 female of all species in the world and 2 male and 2 female reptiles would be taken on board. Prophet Noah had constructed the ship as the god ordered and entered the ship with the creatures. 7 days later, all the creatures except the ones within the ship had vanished as a result of the flood that had continued for 40 days and 40 nights.
Over the years various adventurers have explored Mt. Ararat in the hopes of finding the ruins of Noah’s Ark. Marco Polo was one of them. 1300 A.D. What about you?

Day 3 - ERZURUM / DOGUBAYAZIT
Drive to Dogubayazit. Overnight at the hotel (or camp at Eli Village). (B.L.D.)

Day 4 - DOGUBAYAZIT / Mt. AGRI (ARARAT)
Drive to Eli Village by truck. Departure to the base camp Yesil Yayla (3200 m). Transportation of equipments by pack animals. Overnight at the camp. (B.L.D.)

Day 5 - Mt. AGRI (ARARAT)
Climbing to the second camp (4200 m) transportation of equipment by pack animals. Overnight at the camp. (B.L.D.)

Day 6 - Mt. AGRI (ARARAT) / SUMMIT
Climbing to the summit (5137 m) afterwards return to the base camp. Transportation of equipment by pack animals and overnight. (B.L.D.)

Day 7 - Mt. AGRI (ARARAT) / DOGUBAYAZIT
Drive to Dogubayazit, visiting of Ishak Pasha Palace overnight at the hotel. (B.L.D.)

Day 8 - DOGUBAYAZIT / Mt. SUPHAN
Drive from Dogubayazit to Kiskili Village on Mt. Suphan. Overnight at the village. (B.L.D.)

Day 9 - Mt. SUPHAN
Early morning climb to summit of Mt. Suphan. Afterwards return to the village and overnight. (B.L.D.)

Day 10 - Mt. SUPHAN / AHLAT / Mt. NEMRUT
Drive from Mt. Suphan to Mt. Nemrut. Visiting Ahlat on the way. (Seljuk monuments from the 12th. Century). Camp and overnight near the crater lake of Mt. Nemrut. (B.L.D.)

Day 11 - Mt. NEMRUT / AKDAMAR ISLAND / VAN
Departure from Mt. Suphan to Van. Full day sightseeing tour on the way. (Boat trip on lake Van for to visit Akdamar Island and visiting castle of Van). Overnight at the hotel. (B.L.D.)

Day 12 - VAN / ISTANBUL
Transfer to the airport for flight to Istanbul. Transfer to the hotel and overnight. (B.L.D.)
